Norway grants project
ZOLT Ltd has successfully finished the implementation of a project of development of a prototype of an innovative construction waste removal service processing and logistics management platform within the Norway grants program. Within the project a new product - an innovative construction waste removal service processing and logistics management platform – has been developed.
In the last months of the project, active work was carried out in system testing, incl. in improvement. The implementation of Norway grants program project allowed to carry out knowledge transfer activities in cooperation with the Norwegian partner, when the feasibility of the new system innovative construction waste removal service processing and logistics management platform in accordance with the building regulations in force in Norway has been carried out. In addition, the knowledge and understanding of the construction waste removal service system in Norway, including Norwegian national legislation on construction waste disposal, has been shared. On top - the knowledge and understanding in order to customize the new system innovative construction waste removal service processing and logistics management platform for the Norway construction industry has been gained and the necessary changes has been introduced in the platform.
Also, within the framework of the project, successful cooperation was also established with the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies (LLU) on prototype testing. As part of the testing, a testing report was prepared, incl. conclusions and suggestions taken into account during the last month of project implementation, making technical refinements and improvements to the platform.
The implementation of a project of development of a prototype of an innovative construction waste removal service processing and logistics management platform within the Norway grants program are entering in the finishing line. During the last six months’ period, development, testing and delivery of the following development works were carried out:
Driver app:
1. Added the option to send a message to the dispatcher;
2. Added the possibility to enter the weight, machine number and other information necessary for creating an automatic report for the Latvian APUS system;
3. The development of the possibility of photo fixation through the driver application has been started4. Ability to start and finish a route.
Administrative panel:
1. Adaptations have been created that allow the implementation of other types of related services (hazardous waste, sorted waste, bio-toilets, scrap metal, wood shavings, bulk cargo);
2. Actions were taken to automate accounting (using XML technology, which allows you to store invoices for the entire selected period in one file and import them into the accounting system);
3. Payment accounting (for prepaid invoices) was automated;
4. The possibility to write a comment/message to the driver was implemented so that he would receive it for a specific task in his app;
5. The logic of inventory exchange transactions was improved (when the client has already placed inventory and should exchange it for a new one).
Client App:
1. The possibility of making an exchange transaction was introduced;
2. Development was started for adding photos to existing / new orders;

ZOLT Ltd continues marketing campaigns on google, facebook and other available digital channels in order to attract more service providers to promote the product's recognition, as well as to test the business model and the product itself in market conditions.
The company continues to implement the project of development of a prototype of an innovative
construction waste removal service processing and logistics management platform within the Norway
grants program. During the last six months, development, testing and delivery of the following
development works were carried out:
Driver app:
1. Authorization of drivers;
2. Commencement of work;
3. Creating and validating today's route view;
4. Possibility to start and finish the route.
Administrative panel:
1. Created customer notification mechanisms that allow push notifications to be sent to all
application users;
2. An interactive map was developed, where it is possible to view all inventory units placed by the
company and perform various manipulations with them. Also, the company's dispatcher has the
opportunity
to track the location of the drivers and view the current and future tasks of the specific drivers;
3. Inventory management was implemented that allows you to list, easily attach and detach inventory
items, which promotes accurate and efficient inventory items.
Client App:
1. A new UI design was improved and implemented, which, after research and communication with
industry representatives, would be more relevant to the perception of customers and the needs of
service providers;
2. Work has begun on dynamic pricing of free slots, which will allow service providers to set different
pricing for peak days and hours. This block would promote a more even number of orders during the week
and relieve the burden on companies, as well as allow for a more flexible planning of work for the whole

application, control panel and driver application was started. The procurement procedure for the IT
outsourcing service has been carried out and a contract was concluded in September 6 with the IT
company “MAK IT”.

- discussions were held with developers regarding the planned development, time frames, estimate,
design and functionality;
- the interface was shaped, as well as the technical connection of external systems with the ZOLT
management platform and application (APUS, data transfer from service providers via API, transfer of
service providers' data and customer base into the ZOLT platform).
